Singer (lyrical baritone),  a classical artist with a contemporary flair. Winner of numerous awards and recognitions, including the Grand Prix at international festivals and competitions. Sar has been performing in Artsakh, Armenia, Georgia, Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, USA, UAE, Poland, Italy, Croatia, China, Spain, Lithuania, in Greece and others. He is a vocal juror at many international competitions in Poland and abroad.

 

The repertoire covers works by Armenian, Russian and European composers. Apart from the classical pieces, Sar also performs a variety of well-known and popular songs.

 

His most recent CD recording (2012) is the album “Karot” (Longing), featuring traditional Armenian songs in classical and contemporary arrangements. Sar is currently working on a new record, to be released soon.

 

Saribek /Sar/ Sargsyan lives and works in Warsaw, Poland, but travels extensively to other countries to showcase his extraordinary vocal abilities and promote the wonderful classical heritage of Armenian composers, as well as other well-known and sought after musical gems.

 

Sar is the managing director of the "Sar Sargsyan Cultural Entertainment" Artistic Agency, and the initiator and Artistic Director of the International Vocal Festival & Competition "Vistula Sounds Ciechocinek. Kujawsko-Pomorskie".
