Under the honorary patronage of the Armenian Embassy in Bulgaria and supported by AGBU-Sofia, a concert commemorating the 150th anniversary birthday of Komitas, the great Armenian composer, was held on 13 September 2019 in the “Grigor Azaryan” concert hall of the Armenian National House in Sofia, Bulgaria. Winners of international vocal competitions were invited to sing during the event, including Anna Poghosyan /soprano/, Sar Sargsyan /baritone/ and Margarit Sargsyan /piano/. The program included: Komitas, R. Melikyan, E. Abrahamyan, A. Harutyunyan, B. Kanachyan, A. Achemyan, N. Galanteryan, G. Perperyan, M. Mavisakalyan, and P. Afrikyan.
